Tournament Rules
1. All live wells must be checked before the tournament starts.
2. All boats MUST pass by start boat before heading to fishing area.
3. No live bait. Artificial lures only.
4. All culling must be done before your boat leaves the water.
-Bumping - Anyone may do a courtesy bump with the official bump board before weighing their fish. Once weigh in personnel has your fish, everything becomes official. You can no longer handle/touch your fish until given back to you. (Penalties will be assessed for short fish. Please take advantage of courtesy bump if a fish is questionable.)
5. No more than 5 bass can be brought to the weigh in. Anyone bringing more than 5 bass to the weigh in will be automatically disqualified from that tournament.
6. ALL fish MUST be transported to the weigh-in scales in a bag with adequate water and the fish returned to the lake immediately after weigh-in.
- Bass must be returned to the water carefully and respectfully. No throwing, kicking, or rough handling of fish will be tolerated.
7. Be respectful of other fisherman. In general, a 100-foot perimeter must be allowed to other boaters. If a boat is headed down a shoreline, either fall in behind that boat or go way ahead of them.
8. Places will be decided by weight. Year end standings will be decided by weight.
9. Tie Breakers will be decided by heaviest bass
10. All boaters/fishermen must strictly obey all state and local fishing, game, and watercraft laws and regulations. Failure to do so can result in tournament disqualification.
11. Off Limits: Tournament waters are off limits the day of the event. No pre fishing will allowed the day of the tournament.
Penalties
1. Dead Fish - Dead fish penalty is a half pound per dead fish.
2. Weigh in Bag - A half pound penalty per fish will be assessed for every fish that is brought to the weigh in scale not in a bag with adequate water.
3. Short Fish - If a short fish is weighed in, the short fish is automatically disqualified along with the weight of your Big Bass. (We allow all anglers a courtesy bump for every fish in their bag. Please take advantage of that courtesy bump if a fish is questionable.
1. To participate in the Classic
- The top 10 teams in points (not including the directors) qualify to fish the Classic.
- 2 "Wild Card" teams will also be given a spot in the Classic.
- You must still fish at least 8 tournaments to qualify for the Classic.
2. No subs will be allowed in the classic.
3. All rules used during the regular season will apply to the Classic.
* The 2 "Wild Card" spots will be awarded after the weigh in of the final tournament of the season has concluded.
** The 2 "Wild Card" spots will be decided by drawing names out of a hat after the top 10 in points are finalized.
*** Only 13 teams will fish the Classic - Directors, Top 10 in points, & 2 "Wild Card" teams.
